Stem Plants

Stem plants are the workhorses of a planted tank, they grow fast, absorb nutrients, and fill in the background of your aquascape quickly. Trim and replant the tops to create thick, bushy growth. They do best with decent lighting and benefit from liquid fertiliser, but plenty of stem plants are beginner-friendly too. Great for soaking up excess nutrients and keeping algae under control.
