Ludwigia repens is one of the most reliable and easy-to-grow red stem plants in the hobby. The leaves show green on top and reddish-pink underneath, and the red intensifies with stronger lighting. It is forgiving, fast-growing, and works in a wide range of conditions, making it a great introduction to coloured stem plants. Trim and replant the tops for bushier growth.
