Java moss is the ultimate beginner moss, it grows in almost any conditions, attaches to just about anything, and provides great cover for fry and shrimplets. I use it across my fish room because it collects biofilm that shrimp and fry graze on constantly. Attach it to driftwood, rocks, or mesh with fishing line or super glue and let it spread.
- Growth rate: Moderate
- Light: Low to high
- CO2: Not required
- Placement: Attach to hardscape or mesh
- Difficulty: Beginner-friendly
You will receive one generous portion of java moss.
