Spiky Moss looks a lot like Java Moss but with a neater, more structured shape. Each frond grows in a pointed, triangular pattern, so it stays fuller and tidier than regular Java Moss. It is very hardy and a great choice for shrimp tanks, as it traps biofilm and gives shrimplets plenty of places to forage and hide.
Care at a glance
- Placement: Rocks, driftwood
- Lighting: Low to high
- CO2: Not required
- Temperature: 18 to 28°C

Planting tips

What you will receive
One small portion of Spiky Java Moss in a Plant Pods. Please note that Plant Pods may contain a little duckweed, so I recommend rinsing and checking the moss over before adding it to your tank.
