Guentheri swordtails are a wild-type swordtail species with a natural, earthy colouring and the signature elongated "sword" extension on the males' tail. They are hardier and more robust than many fancy swordtail varieties, and keeping wild-type lines is important for conservation. Active swimmers that need some tank length to move around comfortably.
Home-bred by me in QLD.

- Best kept in: Groups (more females than males)
