The common bristlenose is one of the most useful fish you can keep. They are excellent algae eaters that will clean glass, wood, and decorations, earning their keep in any community tank. Males develop the distinctive "bristle" nose as they mature. Hardy, peaceful, and low-maintenance, they are the ideal clean-up crew fish for any setup.
