Pygmy corydoras are one of the smallest catfish species, and unlike most corys they spend a lot of time swimming in the mid-water column rather than just sitting on the bottom. They are active, social, and endlessly entertaining in a group. In a planted nano tank with sand substrate, a school of pygmy corys is one of the most charming things you can keep.
