Giant vallisneria lives up to its name, producing long, ribbon-like leaves that can reach the surface of even tall tanks and then trail across the top. It creates a dramatic, jungle-like background that sways in the current. It is one of the easiest background plants to grow, spreading rapidly via runners once established. This plant is supplied submersed, so it goes straight into your tank with no transition period.
