Leopard ramshorns have a distinctive spotted shell pattern that sets them apart from solid-coloured ramshorns. The spotting varies between individuals, making each snail unique. They are one of the more decorative ramshorn varieties and a favourite for shrimp keepers who want a clean-up crew with a bit more visual interest.

Ramshorn snails are excellent algae grazers and clean-up crew, they will work through leftover food, decaying plant matter, and soft algae without touching healthy plants. They breed readily in aquariums, so their population will naturally adjust to the amount of food available. Peaceful with all tankmates.
