The Mission Beach form of Pseudomugil Gertrudae is a locality variant collected from the Mission Beach area in Queensland. Like the Cadell River form, males have beautifully spotted fins and bright blue eyes, but the specific patterning and colour tones differ slightly between populations. Keeping locality-specific forms pure is important for conservation and for appreciating the natural diversity within the species.

Home-bred by me in QLD and raised on live food for the best colour and fin development.

  • Adult size: 3cm
  • Temperament: Peaceful
  • Best kept in: Groups of 6 or more
  • Tank size: 30L minimum
  • Temperature: 24–30°C
  • Difficulty: Easy to intermediate
  • Note: Locality-specific form, keep separate from other Gertrudae populations

You will receive young fish, randomly selected.
