Gold Ocellatus are one of the most popular shell dwellers, with a bright golden-yellow body that makes them stand out beautifully against sand substrate. They are feisty little fish with massive personalities. Each individual claims a shell and defends it fiercely, even against much larger tankmates. Watching them dig, rearrange, and guard their territory is pure entertainment.

Home-bred by me in QLD. These fish need a sand substrate and empty shells to thrive.
