Pea puffers are the smallest freshwater pufferfish in the world and one of the most entertaining fish you can keep. They are curious, intelligent, and full of personality, with expressive eyes that follow everything happening around the tank. They are micro predators that need live or frozen food and do best in a species-only setup or with very carefully chosen tankmates. Not a beginner community fish, but an incredibly rewarding one for the right keeper.

Home-bred by me in QLD and raised on live food.

  • Adult size: 2.5cm
  • Temperament: Curious, can be nippy and territorial
